Authenticity is one of the recurring fault lines in Lepage’s work on ritual communities. This article appears to focus that problem through queer neopagan practice, asking how legitimacy is recognized, refused, or negotiated when gender and ritual norms do not line up cleanly.

It also helps explain why the personal site gives equal weight to publications and governance projects: both kinds of work are preoccupied with the terms under which authority becomes credible.
